Selection of lots of bars just north of texas a&m on university avenue. watch out for the crowds of students pretty much every night during the school year. must-visits are the dixie chicken, dudley's, and bottlecap alley not a bar. must-drink is shiner bock beer. if you're in for heavy drinking, check out the dry bean shot bar.
